FC St. Gallen is strengthening its squad with Leon Frokaj, who is moving from FC Aarau. The 21-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract. Sportchef Roger Stilz is pleased with the transfer: «Leon is a young, talented, dynamic midfielder with a good finish. He is versatile and gives our coaching staff more options.» Stilz adds that the team will give Frokaj the time he needs to adapt to the St. Gallen style of play. Frokaj was trained at FC Basel, but never quite broke through at the club. For the 2025/26 season, he moved to FC Aarau in the Challenge League. There, he played 36 official games and scored five points. The FC St. Gallen is already strengthening its squad for the next season, a week after winning the cup.
