What happened?
Barcola was on the verge of a transfer to FC St. Gallen in January 2023. Zeidler: «We wanted to loan him – everything was basically clear.»
Why did the deal fall through?
However, several of Barcola's competitors at Lyon were injured at that time. The youngster filled the gap and convinced – suddenly a loan was no longer an option.
